I am an experimental evolutionary ecologist who studies the impacts of environmental change on the ecology and evolution of consumer-resource interactions. The goal of my research is to quantify evolutionary and ecological responses of populations to novel environments, and incorporate increased environmental complexity into microevolution studies, to better understand and predict the impacts of global change.

My research at ISEM investigates how how ecosystemic context, specifically resource quality and predation, impact the eco-evolutionary dynamics of range expansions. I will conduct experimental evolution with protists populations to investigate this question.
