I am currently a first year student in the Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Evolutionary Biology (MEME). During my research project here, I aim to demonstrate the evolution of a competition-colonization trade-off using experimental evolution. This will help us to understand the dynamics and evolution of coexistence in spatially structured habitats. The work will be complemented with a model based on theoretical predications of the evolution of such a trade-off from an initially isogenic population.
