For his M2 master project with Oliver Kaltz, Florent studied dispersal evolution in experimental metapopulations ofParamecium caudatum. Namely, Florent tested how selection on dispersal was affected by the spatio-temporal variation in disturbance (local extinction events) and by the presence of a predator (Didinium nasutum).
Florent is now a PhD fellow inBerlin.
