EEC is looking for master students

Master projects are available in our group!
Possible projects focus on eco-evolutionary dynamics in fragmented landscapes. Using both theoretical and/or experimental evolution approaches, the aim of the projects is to investigate the joint effects of environmental forcing (disturbance) and biotic forcing (parasites, predators, competitors) on demographic dynamics and epidemiology in structured populations, and the consequences for the evolution of dispersal traits and the traits involved biotic interactions (resistance, virulence). Understanding these relationships can provide important insight in the evolutionary processes determining the geographic species ranges, especially in the light of global climate change.
